Rotary Train hours - Through November
Thursday through Saturday from 1 to 6 pm
and Sunday from 1:30 to 6 pm. Train
closes at dark. Carrousel (only) winter
hours for December , January and
February, Friday from 1 to 5 pm, Saturday
from 1 to 5 pm and Sunday 1:30 to 5 pm.
Train closed except for special Christmas
schedule. Carrousel and train open extra
days for Christmas on Dec. 22, 23, 27 & 28
1 to 5 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, 1:30
to 5 pm on Sundays.

Shelby will sponsor the Art and Soul
Holiday Art Sale on December 3 - 23,
featuring artwork by local and regional
artists. Hours are Mondays - Fridays from
9 a.m. - 5 p.m. A portion of the proceeds
will benefit the Cleveland County Arts

*The Cleveland County Choral
Society’s Christmas concert will be
presented on Saturday, December 4 at 8
p.m. and on Sunday, December 5 at 3 p.m.
in Malcolm Brown Auditorium at Shelby
High School. Admission is $5. Director is
Ken Brooks and the Crest High School
orchestra will provide accompaniment.
*The Neal Senior Center in Shelby will
sponsor a Christmas feast on Friday,
December 17 from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. for
adults age 55 and older. Cost is $5 for
senior adults and $6 for guests. For more

*Hospice of Cleveland County will host
a holiday ornament-making program on
. Thursday, December 2 from 10:30 a.m. -
12 noon and from 6 - 7:30 p.m.
Participants will have the chance to design
ornaments in memory of a loved one. For
