BRYMER Staff Writer Kings Row Apartment developers are pleased with the response to its 56-unit complex located across from Kings Mountain Intermediate School. Built by Eagan Partners, the apartments are part of a tax credit program. Individuals renting units can not exceed an income threshold. An individual can make no more than $20,520. For a family of two the max- ‘imum is $23,460; three, $26,400; four, $29,340; five, $31,680; six, $34,020; seven, $36,360. Rent begins at $360 for two bedroom/two bath units and $408 for a three bedroom /two bath unit. Water and sewer are includ- ed. So far 15 people have requested rental applica- tions, according to Mark Muncus, regional property manager. “I think it’s going to be a quick rent,” he said. GOP to hold precinct meetings The Cleveland County Republican Party will hold precinct meetings and annu- al convention on March 3. Precinct meetings will start at 7 p.m. The Convention will start at 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at the GOP headquarters, at the corner of Marion and Washington Streets in Shelby. All residents of Cleveland County who were registered as Republican by January 31 are invited to attend and participate, and should take their voter regis- tration card and identifica- tion. Delegates elected to the County Convention will be asked to pay a $5 registra- tion fee. ; During the precinct meet- ings, voters will select precinct officers and delegates to the County Convention, which will immediately follow. During the County Convention, del- egates will select CCGOP Officers for the next two years, an Executive Board and Delegates to the 10th District Convention and NCGOP Convention. The annual State Convention will see approxi- mately 800 to 1,000 delegates and guests from around the state converge on the Asheville Civic Center. Delegates will receive reports on the state of the NCGOP, debate changes to the platform and plan of organization, vote on a NCGOP chairman, and hear addresses from state and national political fig- ures.
