The CNA | program is a 128-hour course. Graduates of this program provide personal care for patients in a variety of set- tings. The graduates have completed North Carolina requirements to be listed on the registry as Nursing Assistants Level I. The first graduates of the Surgical Technology program at Cleveland Community College were honored recently with a pinning ceremony. Nine students completed the year-long program. The ceremony included the presentation of Surgical Technology pins, recitation of the Code of Ethics, and a keynote address. The speaker was Michael L. Barringer, MD, of Shelby Surgical Associates.
