and Arthur Ivey and sister,
Hazel Poteat.
She was a homemaker and
- member of First Wesleyan
Church in Kings Mountain,
where she taught the Ruth
Sunday School Class.
She is survived by her
husband, John I. George Jr.
of Kings Mountain; sons
Bart, Mark and Myron;
daughters-in-law Dianne,
Debbie and Joy; grandchil-
‘dren Greg, David, Katie,
Anna, Caleb, and Zachary;
great-grandchildren Claire
and Railey; and sisters
Mildred Parker and Marian
Cloninger, both of Kings
Mountain.
The funeral was conduct-
ed by Rev. Don Williams
and Dr. John Sloan at 1 p.m.
Friday, December 23, 2005 at
First Wesleyan Church.
Interment was in Mountain
Rest Cemetery.

He is survived by his

wife Mary of Sylva; and sis-
ters Janell M. Eng and hus-
band Don of Concord, Judy
M. Champion of Monroe,
and Elizabeth M. Roberts
and husband David of
Gastonia.
The funeral was conduct-
ed by the Rev. Robbie Moore

She was

She was a part-time employ-
ee of H & R Block, Kings
Mountain. She was an avid
bridge player. She was a
devoted wife of 52 years.
She was a loving mother,
caring sister, and friend to
many. She will be dearly
missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her
husband, Dale F. Becker of
Kings Mountain; son

Administrative Board. He
was a 1959 graduate of
Clemson University. He was
a member and past presi-
dent of the Kings Mountain
Rotary. He was a master
mason of Fairview Masonic
Lodge and White Plains
Shrine Club, Kings
Mountain. He served as a
Captain in the United States
Army. He was a Councilman
for the City of Kings
Mountain for six years serv-
ing Ward 5, and he was
Mayor Pro-Tem for two
years. He was a retired tex-
tile manager.
He is survived by his wife,
