§ i? p i) 0 { a a 3 Rr, Sma ro co March 30, 2006 WEDDINGS Patterson-Green vows exchanged Mollie Anne Patterson and Sgt. Brian Scott Green exchanged marriage vows March 4 at 3 p.m. in Kings Mountain. Rev. Joseph Griffin officiated. A program of wedding music was presented by Brandon T. Williams, electric wind instrumentalist; Brandon Bell, pianist; and Amanda Morgan, vocalist. Jerry Lee Patterson escorted his daughter. The bride wore a strapless, champagne-col- ored, A-line gown featuring a corset lace-up back and chapel train. The gown was enhanced by a center front drape, caught at the center with a beaded cluster exposing a layered split front. The bodice and train had a very delicate embroidered floral motif with baby pearls and sequins. The bride carried a hand tied bouquet of champagne and cream- colored roses accented by yellow rosebuds and renuculas. Heather Hayes of Kings Mountain, the bride's step-sister; was maid of honor. Flower girls were Lexie Green, the groom’s daugh- ter, and Jordan Gormley. Chloe Hayes was honorary flower girl. Ring bearers were Thomas Williams II and Travis Williams. Bridesmaids were Derra Fite of Blacksburg, SC, Carrie Stowe of Kings Mountain, Lindsay Green of Shelby and Ashley Leigh of Kings Mountain. They wore sage green satin dresses. The dresses were two-piece with a gathered bodice and spaghetti straps. Casey Green and Libby Lail of Shelby were register attendants. Camille Putnam was wedding director. Randy Green of Shelby was his son's best man. Groomsmen were Randy Mull of Shelby, Travis Patterson of Kings Mountain, Ken Bachman of Kings Mountain and Thomas Williams of Shelby. Honorary groomsman was Zack Hayes of Kings Mountain. « The reception, hosted by the bride’s par- ents, was held in the David Baptist Church fellowship hall. Assisting were Melanie Anderson, Barbara Glover, Brenda Green, Louise McSwain, Delores Patterson, Ruby McKinney, Diana Johnson and Sylvia Rennick. Decorations included candle-lit center- pieces on round tables, yellow, pink and ivory floral arrangements and yellow rib- bons in honor of American troops. The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Cup & Saucer Tea Room in Kings Mountain. MRS. BRIAN SCOTT GREEN (Mollie Anne Patterson) The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Ted Hayes of Kings Mountain and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lee Patterson of Blacksburg, SC. She is the granddaughter of Margaret Smith and the late Travis Smith of Grover, the late Eural and Gladys Patterson of Blacksburg, SC and the late Maxine Hayes of Shelby. She is a 2000 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and a 2004 graduate of Wingate University. She is currently enrolled at UNC Greensboro pursuing a Masters degree. She is a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. and is employed as Assistant Registrar at Cleveland Community College. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Boyce Randall Green of Shelby. He is the grandson of Mrs. Bobbie Brown McFarland of Asheville and the late William. Henry McFarland, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Randall Green of Blacksburg, SC, and David Harrison Merck of Lawndale and the late Betty McGinnis Green Merck. He is a 2000 graduate of Crest High School and attends Gardner-Webb University where he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He is employed by Dick Crowder Ceramic Tile and is currently serving in Iraq with the NC National Guard. The couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg, TN and now reside in Shelby. Muenchs wed in Tennessee Venetia Marie Seblatnigg and Jeffrey Emmett Muench were married October 22, 2005 in Sewanee, TN. The Rev. Andrew Keyse, an Episcopal priest, performed the late afternoon ceremony in All Saints” Chapel on the campus of the University of the South. Mrs. Muench, 33, is a 1993 graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University. She received her MBA from The McCombs School of Business | at the University of Texas at Austin in 2001 and is a Senior Consultant for IBM Business Consulting Services. : The bride’s parents are Renee FE. Seblatnigg of Greenwich, Connecticut, an attorney, and Gerhard H. Seblatnigg of Naples, FL, a retired executive of International Paper Company. Mr. Muench, 35, graduated from the University of the South in Sewanee in 1993. He served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Central African Republic and pursued grad- uate work in intercultural management at the Institut Catholique des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Brussels, Belgium on a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship. After returning, he earned an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999. Currently, he is the Marketing Manager on the Reddi-wip brand with ConAgra Foods in Naperville, IL. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. George W. Echols-Dixon couple to wed May 27, 2006 Kevin and Amanda Echols of Kings Mountain announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Christine Echols, to Wesley Edward Dixon, son of Wayne and Regina Dixon of Kings Mountain.
