KINGS MOUNTAIN - Peggy Sanders
Moss, 66, 709 Meadowbrook Road, died June
9, 2006 at Kings Mountain Hospital.
She was born in Cleveland County. She
was the daughter of the late Howard and
Martha Solesbee Sanders.
She was a member of Macedonia Baptist
Church, Kings Mountain. She was a home-
maker. She was a loving mother and grand-
mother, who loved tending to her grandchil-
dren.
She is survived by her husband, Karl R.
Moss of Kings Mountain; son Brian R. Moss
of Shelby; daughter Carrie M. Messenger and
husband Dan of Kings Mountain; brother Bill
Sanders of Chester, SC; sister Linda Ann
Abercrombie of Spartanburg, SC; and three
grandchildren, Whitney Moss, Dillon
Messenger and Dalton Messenger.
A graveside service was conducted by the
Rev. Mike Chambers at 3 p.m. Sunday, June
11, 2006 at Mountain Rest Cemetery.

GROVER - Billie Ann Boheler, 60, 767
Holly Ridge Road, died June 7, 2006 at her
home.
A native of Cleveland County, she was the
daughter of the late M.L. “Bill” Camp and
Elma Sanders Camp. She was also preceded
in death by her brother, Jerry Camp, and sis-
ter, Kay Randle.
She was a member of First Baptist Church,
Grover, and was employed by Ticona, Earl.
She is survived by her husband, Joe
Boheler of Grover; daughters JoAnna B..

DOROTHY PATTERSON
LAWNDALE - Dorothy Cook Patterson,
77, 308 E. Double Shoals Road, died June 6,
2006 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center,
Shelby.
She was born in Cleveland County. She
was the daughter of the late Wilseh Cook and
Kathryn Barnes Cook.
She was retired from Sadie Mills, Kings
Mountain. She was a good and loving moth-
er and grandmother and was loved by her
family. The family would like to send a spe-
cial thank you to Lora Love and Amy
Champion for taking care of mother.
She is survived by her son, William Keith
Patterson and wife Phyllis of Kings
Mountain; daughters Donna Reynolds and
husband Steve of Lawndale, Rita Owens and
husband Jerry of Lawndale, Sybil Walker and
husband Richard of Cherryville; former hus-
band William Odell Patterson and wife
Kathy; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchil-
dren and one great-great grandchild.
The funeral was conducted by the Rew.
Mike Staton at 3 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2006 at
Second Baptist Church, Cherryville. Burial
was in Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery,
Kings Mountain.

BLANTON McNEILL
KINGS MOUNTAIN - Blanton McNeill, 86,
1103 W. Gold Street, died Thursday, June 8,
2006 at Cleveland Regional Hospital, Shelby.
He was born in Burnsville, NC, son of the
late Edward McNeill and the late Tina Ballew
Hollifield. He was also preceded in death by
his son Lawrence McNeill, grandson Marty
McNeill, brothers Cecil Hollifield, Ralph
McNeill and John Hollifield, and sister Belle
Hollifield.
He was a member of Fairview Baptist
Church in Burnsville, NC. He was retired
from Highway Construction and Mica and
Spur mining. He was a loving father and
grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Mamie
Grindstaff McNeill of Kings Mountain;
daughters Barbara M. Garland of Spruce
Pine, NC, Frankie M. Alexander and hus-
band Cliff of W. Jefferson, NC, Wilma H.
Haskins and husband Rev. Larry Haskins,
and Marie M. Miller and husband Ray of
York, SC; brother Arthur Hollifield of
Burnsville, NC, sister Hattie Hollifield of
Marion, NC, sister-in-law Lillie McNeill, 12
grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and
one great-great grandchild.
The funeral was conducted by the Revs.
Eddie Gray and Larry Haskins at 3 p.m.
Sunday, June 11, 2006 at Ollie Harris
Memorial Chapel. Burial was in Mountain
Rest Cemetery.
