Talmage and Patsy Wright of Grover and Freddy Gladden Sr. and
the late Deborah Gladden of Kings Mountain announce the engage-
ment of their children, Tamela Diane Wright and Freddy Eugene
Gladden Jr.
The ceremony will be held November 3, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Christian
Freedom Baptist Church.
Tamela’s maternal grandparents are the late William G. and Dorcas
M. Clark of Grover. Her paternal grandparents are Ottis Wright of
Kings Mountain and Gertie Wright of Grover.
Her paternal great-great grandparents are Stough and Cassie
Wright of Grover.
Tamela is a 2001 graduate of Kings Mountain High School. She is
a graduate of Nursing at Gaston College and is employed by
Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
Freddy's maternal grandparents are the late H.A. and Ruby
Haskins of Shelby. His paternal grandparents are Shirley Owens of
Kings Mountain and Eugene and Janette Lail of Kings Mountain.
He is a 1999 graduate of Kings Mountain High School.

Hunter Scott Gladden
born on April 9, 2007
Hunter Scott Gladden was
born April 9, 2007 at 9:34 p.m. at
Cleveland Regional Medical
Center in Shelby. He weighed
seven pounds, 12 1/2 ounces
and was 19 inches long.
Parents are Jason and Tara
Gladden of Grover.
Grandparents are Talmage and
Patsy Wright of Grover and
Freddy Gladden Sr. and the late
Deborah H. Gladden of Kings
Mountain.
Great-grandparents are Ottis
Wright of Kings Mountain,
Gertie Wright of Grover, and the
late H.A. and Ruby Haskins of

Cameron Bell
is one year old
Cameron Allen Bell was one
year old on August 17. He cele-
brated with his friends and fam-
ily with a pool party August 18
at the home of his great-grand-
parents, Harold and Betty Allen.
The party featured a luau
theme and a swimming pool
cake. Cameron had his own cake
as well.
He is the son of Michael and
Amy Bell. Maternal grandpar-
ents are Jeff and Gail Bell.
Paternal grandparents are
Manuel and Rosie Bell. Maternal
great-grandparents are Harold

over; Women’s senior division 50-over
AwARDS: Award for top male & female overall 5K; Participation
ribbons for all entrants; plaque for overall male/female winner - 1
mile run; medals to top 3 in each age group both male & female -
SK; merchandise prizes via drawing; attractive t-shirts to all en-
trants of all events
