Eade Anderson will be guest speaker at the 7 p.m. service on Friday, October 12. Members and visitors will enjoy a time of sharing and lunch on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. On Sunday, Oct. 14 at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Anderson will lead the worship service. It will be fol- lowed by a covered dish lunch. A love offering will be taken for Rev. Anderson on Sunday. Out-of-town guests are not expected to take food for the Sunday meal. Midview Baptist Church, 703 Margrace Rd., Kings Mountain, will host its annual Campers for . Christ Jubilee from October 19 at 12 noon till October 21 at 12 noon. Sunday’s worship service will be held outside at 10:30 a.m. If it rains, it will be held inside. There is free admission with plenty of free parking. Campers may take tents, campers (no hook-ups), and lawn chairs. Take food for cooking and picnic bas- kets. A grill will be available. There are bathroom facilities and handicap assistance. Over 55 people came out for the activities. Those who attended were served a variety of foods. Everyone enjoyed the games, music and other activities that were provided for the different age groups. Representatives from Edward Jones and Sun Trust were on site to provide financial advice. Many took advantage of a free health care screening, and to register for the tutoring program being offered at the church.
