Records The Kings Mountain Herald Wednesday, November 19, 2008 Obituaries Police log | Jonell Hambright KINGS MOUNTAIN - Mrs. Jonell Cunningham Hambright, 71, of 357 Wells Road, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2008 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daugh- ter of the late Leslie and Sadie Paris Cunningham. She was a member of Dixon Presbyterian Church and former manager of Caveny Fabrics in Kings Mountain. Surviving are her hus- band, Prentis D. Hambright of the home; son, Perry and wife, Janet Mizrahi of Santa Barber, CA and daughter, Lynn H. Walters and hus- band, Robert of the Dixon Community; six grandchil- dren and one great-grand- “child. The graveside service was conducted Sunday, Now. 16, 2008 at 4 p.m. in the Hambright Family Cemetery. Rev. Robbie Wells officiated the service. A guest register is avail- able at . A memorial service will be held Thursday, Novem- ber 20, 2008 at 11 a:m. at ~ Burke Mortuary Chapel in Maiden. The family will re- ceive friends following the service at the funeral home. Kenneth Bunkowski KINGS MOUNTAIN - Kenneth D. Bunkowski, age 86, of Perham, MN, passed tober | Sunrise Living Center, Golden Valley, Funeral services were held Thursday, October 30, 2008, beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Perham, with Pas- ‘tor Carl Nobel and Pastor Tony <Cloose officiating. Burial will follow in Spruce Grove Cemetery, Menahga. Visitation was held Wednesday, October 29, at Schoeneberger ~~ Funeral Home, Perham, from 5-7 p.m. and one hour prior to the funeral at the church. Kenneth Donald Bunkowski was born May 21, 1922, in Casselton, ND, the son of William and Emma (Panter) Bunkowski. He was raised near Cassel- ton and also Spruce Grove Township in Minnesota. Ken served in the Coast Guard from 1941-44. He began his career in Ever- green, MN, as a welder, a gift that he shared with nu- merous individuals over a period of years. On July 18, 1945, in St. Paul’s Church in Evergreen, he was united in marriage to Wilma Roberts.
