Frady’s Florist visits
Magnolia garden club
The Magnolia Garden Club met Tuesday, Nov. 17,
at the home of Mabel McGill.
The meeting began with an informative program
by Todd Frady, owner of Frady’s Florist of Kings
Mountain. He created a wreath with a variety of
greenery and berries with bows, Christmas balls, can-
dles, fruit and flowers as optional additions. Frady
used a plastic ring filled with wet oasis as foundation.
The base comes in different sizes and the results of
the demonstration sparked enthusiasm among the
members. The wreath could be hung on a door or
wall, or used as a table centerpiece. Todd also taught
the group how to make bows for wreaths, packages,
trees and floral arrangements.
The meeting was adjourned after refreshments
were served and a business session was held.
Molly Savage is club secretary.
