A member of Bethlehem
Baptist Church, she was re-
tired from Mac’s Shoe Store
in Shelby.
Surviving are her sons,
Warren H. Falls and wife,
Beth of Ft. Pierce, FL, and
Monte K. Falls and wife,
Michele, of Vero Beach,
FL; brother, Lee Mac Wells
of Shelby; sister, Margaret
Wise of Kings Mountain;
three grandchildren; Katye
Price and husband, Greg,
and Hunter Falls and wife,
Julie, all of Gaffney, SC,
and Gillian Falls of Ft.
Pierce, FL; and seven great-
grandchildren.
The family received
friends Thursday, Jan. 7,
2010 ‘at Harris Funeral
Home in Kings Mountain.

conducted Friday, Jan. 8,
2010 at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem
Baptist Church. Rev. Mike
Chambers officiated and in-
terment was in Bethlehem
Baptist Church Cemetery.

Greason, and was also pre-
ceded in death by his
brother, Kenneth “Ken”
Edgar Greason, Sr.
He was retired from
Burlington Industries after
26 years of service and was
a former employee of Park-
dale Mills. A member of
Second Baptist Church, he
was a loving father and
grandfather.
Surviving are his wife,
Patricia Greason; son,
Roger Lee Greason Jr. and
wife, Angela; daughter,
Sharon Lynne Greason; and
sister, Louise Greason Eng-
land, all of Kings:Mountain;
grandchildren Michael Eu-
gene Huss, Nicolas Alexan-
der Greason and Katie
Nicole Greason; great-
grandchildren Mylee Emma
Huss and Michael Ethan
Huss.

Wednesday, Jan. 13,2010 at
2 p.m at Ollie Harris Me-
morial Chapel, Rev.Timo-
thy Setzer officiating. The

formerly of Moon Town-
ship, passed away on Thurs-
day, January 7, 2010. Born
in Augusta, GA on May 185,
1921, he was the son of the
late Nell (Clarke) and
Moses Collins Murphey, Jr.
He was a beloved hus-
band for 61 years of Janice
(Terrill) Murphey; loving
father of Betsy (David)
Williams, John (Buffy)
Murphey, and the late Bruce
Murphey = and Nancy
McKim; father-in-law of
Blake McKim; proud
grandfather of Laura, Sarah
and Madison Williams,
Lyndsey and Jacob Mur-
phey, Christopher and
Jonathan McKim. He was a
member, deacon and elder
of Sharon Community Pres-
byterian Church and was a
member of Sewickley
Men’s Club.
Mr. Murphey was a 1940
graduate of Richmond
Academy and received his
Bachelor’s in Chemical En-
gineering from Georgia
Tech in 1943. He retired in
1985 as chief plant engineer
of Koppers Co./ Arco Poly-
Hobbies | included
golf, stamp collecting, gar-
dening and ballroom danc-
ing.
Visitation was held Sun-
day, Jan. 10, before the fu-
neral service that was
conducted at 4 p.m. at
Copeland’s Moon Town-
ship, 981 Brodhead Rd. A
private burial was held at
Sewickley Cemetery.
The family welcomes

Robert Ramsey and Macie
Pruitt Shelton Ramsey. He
was also preceded in death
by his first wife, Dorothy
Martin Ramsey; bothers,
Leslie, Bill, Clyde, Elzie
and Hearied Ramsey;
grandson, Joseph Lee Ham-
bright; great grandson,
Charles Scott Reep Jr;
great-great granddaughter,
Gabriella Reep; his special
friend of 30 years, Eula
Bumgardner, as well as the
loving mother of his six
children, Lou Martin Ram-
sey.
Survivors include sons,
Cecil (Bud) Ramsey, Bill
and wife Patsy Ramsey, Jim
and wife Kay Ramsey, all of
York, SC; daughters, Mar-
lene R. Wellman, Brenda R.
and husband Jim Belt, and
Peggy R. Hambright, all of
Kings Mountain, NC; one
sister, Dorothy S. Mitchem
of Blacksburg, SC; 17
grandchildren, 52 great
grandchildren, 22 great-
great grandchildren and a
large number of nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Mr. Ramsey served in
the CCC Camps and was re-
cently honored for that serv-
ice by the Kings Mountain
Chapter as the second old-
est living member. Mr.
Ramsey also served his
country in the United States
Army. He worked in the
textile industry and later
drove and retired from Car-
olina Freight Carriers Cor-
poration in Cherryville, NC
after 23 years of service
where he received many,
many safe driving awards.
Our Dad was a man of
compassion and caring and
we will miss him until the
day we are called home and
can join him, our Creator
and our other loved ones in
our final home.
Visitation was held Fri-
day, Jan. 8, 2010 from 6-8
p.m. at Bratton Funeral
Home.
The funeral service was
held at Bratton Funeral
Home Saturday, Jan. 9,
2010 at 2 p.m., interment
following at Lakeview
