Mildred “Genia” Blue BLACKSBURG, SC- Mildred “Genia” Blue, 69, of 113 Fisher Drive, Blacks- burg, SC, died April 2, 2010 at Upstate Medical Center, Gaffney, SC. She was born in Brunswick, Ga., to the late Louis Franklin and Inez Ellen Hutcheson Lynn. She was wife for 52 years to the late Theodore Blue, being married on April 2, 1958. "She was a homemaker. She is survived by daughters, Terri Parker of Blacksburg, SC, Brenda Marud and husband Thad of Raeford, NC, Mary Ann Link, of Taylorsville, Utah, Ellen Aguilar and husband Kevin of Magna, Utah, and Penny Martin and husband Don of Kings Mountain; brother, Benny Lynn of Sa- vannah, Ga.; sister, Janis Lynn Cate and husband Ken of Darien, Ga.; eight grand- children, Tabitha Jacobson, Michelle Bryant, Dustin Wayne Parker, Robert Lee Wilson, Kristopher Lloyd Aguilar, Katherine Eliza- beth Martin, Rebecca Ash- ley Martin and Peter Richard Marud; three great- grandchildren, Derrick Matthew Norris III, Trent Parker, and Katelynn Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews. Collins said she fell asleep at the wheel while she was wait- ing to pick up her husband from work, awoke and her foot hit the gas pedal and the vehi- cle hit-a gate and fence doing $800 damage. Carpenter said Jeffrey Ramsey of Shelby, operating a City of Kings Mountain garbage truck, had stopped on Temple St to pick up a container. Sheila Adams of Grover, in a 1999 Honda, pulled around the city truck and attempted to make a right turn into a driveway and her car was struck by the garbage truck. Damages to- taled $6,000. MARCH 26: Officer Bryan McGinnis said a 1999 Ply- mouth operated by Toraz Davis, Gastonia, struck a 2008 Ford operated by Fredrick Roberts of Gastonia. The acci- dent happened on King St; property damages estimated at $2,500. ; MARCH 27: Officer P.W. Alexander charged Thomas J. Baltimore of Clover, SC with felony flee to elude arrest, driv- ing while license revoked, fic- titious plate, speeding on US 74 Business.
