Ruby Wilson Stoner VALDESE-Mrs. Ruby Virginia Wilson Stoner, 95, died Friday, April 23, 2020 at Morganton Long Term Care. The graveside service was conducted Monday, April 26,2020 at 1 p.m. at Burke Memorial Park. Harriett “Lib” Styers BESSEMER Harriett “Lib” Fitch Styers, 74, Bessemer City, died April 23, 2010, at Robin Johnson House. She was born in Cleveland County to the late George Cicero and Ila Mitchell Curtis Fitch. The funeral service Ww a s con - ducted by the Rieiive, John Heath at 11 am. Tuesday at Sisk- Butler Funeral Home in Bessemer City. Interment was at Greenwood Ceme- tery, Belmont. Visitation was held Monday night at Sisk-But- _ ler Funeral Home and at other times at her home 255 Forest Dellinger Rd, Besse- mer City. She loved God and her _ family; she will be dearly missed. Sigk-Butler Funeral Home Craft, trade fair at park Kings Mountain Na- tional Military Park will be the backdrop for a Colonial Crafts and Trade Fair Satur- day, May 1, and Sunday, May 2. The event will be held on the grounds near the National Military Park Vis- itor Center from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. There is no admission fee. A concert will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. and Piper Corbin McKinnon will di- vide his performance with the bagpipe and Celtic flute. Craftsmen/women will be demonstrating an array of 18th century skills and crafts, including tombstone carving, carpentry and join- ery, woodworking, pewter- smithing, colonial games and toys, lantern making, trapping and tanning, 18th century medicine, black- smithing, pottery, scrimshaw, weaying and inkle looming, wooden but- ton making and candle making. There will also be dis- cussions on the use of herbs in the 18th century. Gold St. and S. Battleground Ave. and left the scene. Her vehi- cle was stopped on Shelby road after it struck another street sign at the intersec- tion of Shelby Rd. and Castlewood Drive. Officer hit by car at high school KM Police Officer Shane Davis, 33, working traffic at Kings Mountain High School April 15, was knocked to the ground by a car which had stopped but suddenly moved forward, according to Officer K. L. Hamrick, who investigated. Davis was treated at Kings Mountain Hospital Emergency Room. Henrietta Worrell Love, 1998 Acura, was cited for unsafe movement violation. Hamrick said that the Love vehicle was the first vehicle stopped in traffic about 7:30 a.m. while Davis was directing school traffic. “Mrs. Love proceeded for- ward without the officers authorization and struck Davis on the right side of his. body knocking him down. She stopped just past the point of impact and said she thought the officer had advised her to move on and her front seat passenger stated to her to “go,” ac- cording to police report.
