well is
good for
pets, too
We, as a family, who
have been in the Health
Food Industry for over 20
ears know how important
itis to eat well and take care
of our bodies.
These days it is impossi-
ble for us to get the proper
nutrients from our food
alone. We all need to under-
stand the importance of
supplementation not only
for ourselves but also for
our pets.
Because our pets are
such an important part of
our family, we spend a lot
of time researching and
finding the best supple-
ments to keep our “furry”
friends healthy and happy.
Organic, natural pet foods
that are free of chemicals
and common allergens,
omega-3 supplements that
may support heart and eye |
health and even help with
shedding and skin allergies
are both key and essential to
overall pet health and vital-
ity
We are sure you love
and cherish your pets, just |
as we do ours. An animal’s
love for us is unconditional.
Take care of them in the
very best possible way. Al-
ways keep your pets well
being in mind.

some great ways to ensure
your pets optimal health. A
healthy pet is a happy pet.

Health problems of her
own don’t keep Molly from
raising spirits at White Oak
by ELIZABETH STEWART
staff writer
Molly, 7, isn’t a typical volunteer.
She has four legs, likes to ride in a doll
stroller and has gold colored fur.
The residents at White Oak Manor
have adopted this pert, tiny, bright-eyed
and obviously happy and spoiled
Pomeranian. :
“They watch for Molly every day,”
says her mistress Charlene Walls. The
loving little pet is a constant visitor
with Charlene and her mother, Audrey |
Ballard, in Herley Ballard’s room at the
nursing home. The Ballards, of Besse-
mer City, will be married 56 years in
September and Molly has been a mem-
ber of the family for five years.
Mrs. Walls said Molly has health
problems of her own but you’d never
know it. She has become fast friends of
many of the residents.
“Our Whole family considers Molly
one of us,’
Jamie and Kristin Walls and grandchil-
dren, Somer Walls, 14, Jamie Lee
Walls, 8, and Taylor Lee Walls, 5.
The White Oak Manor Activities De-
partment honored volunteers recently
with certificates of appreciation and ‘
Molly was out front. “One of the best
volunteers at White Oak Manor,” said
the plaque.
