Epiphany Service Sunday
Epiphany Service will be conducted Sunday, Jan..2, 2011 at 5 p.m.
at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 600 Crescent Circle. Join them for
a bonfire, a light meal, the singing of favorite Christmas carols and
find.out who has the hidden coins in their slice of Kings Cake. This
is a unique tradition of remembering many local Old Christmas cel-
ebrations and bringing in the season of Epiphany.
Letters to God movie Jan. 7
The World Care Ministry with the Gospel for Asia is sponsoring
the movie, “Letters to God” at People’s Baptist Church 1010 Groves
St., on Friday, Jan. 7,2011 at 6 p.m. A free movie, it is the story of a
young boy fighting cancer who writes “Letters to God”, touching lives
in his neighborhood and community and inspiring hope among every-
one. Dr. Moses Neuman Sr. of Kings Mountain and World Care Min-
istry invites the public,
PRISON MINISTRY - Kings Mountain Family Worship Center wished 175 Cleveland County in-
mates a Merry Christmas this week by giving each inmate a bag full of fruit, candy and other
items. Church members told the inmates they prayed for them, they are loved and not forgot-
ten. It was a special treat for many who may not otherwise get a gift at this special time of the
year. Food Lion on Shelby Road donated the bags for the ministry sponsored by Family Wor-
ship Center.

New Year's Eve at Cherokee St. Baptist
