Caleb Sears, of Pack 92 stationed at First Baptist Church in Kings Mountain; -was recently honored for selling $5,700 worth of pop- corn in the Piedmont Coun- cil. Popcorn sales is a national Boy Scout fundraiser. Proceeds raised from the sale benefit the council, troop and scout, who receives some of the funding for scouting activi- ties. Alexander. Turner to wed Kyra Elizabeth Alexander and Andrew Paul Turner . The Rev. and Mrs. Reg Alexander of Kings Mountain announce the engagement of their daughter, Kyra Eliza- beth Alexander, to Andrew Paul Turner, son of the Rev. and Mrs. David Turner of Mill Spring, formerly of Kings Mountain. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late | Charles and Ruby Alexander of Kings Mountain, and the late Valand and Josephine Copeland of Suffolk, Va. She is 22007 graduate of Kings Mountain High School and a 2010 graduate of North Greenville University, with a Bachelors degree in Journalism. Kyra is employed as a reporter at the Kings Mountain Herald. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Joe and Nadine Turner, and Buford and Jane Summitt, all of Kings Mountain. He is a 2007 graduate of Kings Moun- tain High School and will be a 2011 graduate from North Greenville University, with a Bachelors of Theatre de- gree.
