America’s 18th Annual Living with Grief
Teleconference focuses on “Spirituality and
End-of-Life Care”, and discusses the differ-
ences and relationship between spirituality
and religion while also addressing spiritual-
ity during illness, death, and grief.

Kings Mountain Annual Easter Egg Hunt
— Saturday, April 23rd, at 10 a.m. at the Chil-
dren’s Playground at the YMCA on Highway
161 (Cleveland Ave.). CVS Pharmacy will
provide bottled water and be available to take
pictures of children with the Easter Bunny,
offering a discount on a 4 x 6 print and a
drawing for an Easter basket for a lucky boy
and girl. A golden egg will be mixed in with
the other eggs in each age category and each

“Hop Around Town” — Friday, April
22nd, the Easter bunny will “hop around
town” and visit various daycare centers, as-
sisted living centers, and the Patrick Senior
Center.
Asthma Expo — April 16th, 10 am. — 12
p.m. at the Dover Foundation YMCA in
Shelby. Admissipn and all activities are free
of charge. Additional forms of education and
entertainment will include: free giveaways
and prize drawings; a jump rope contest; and
an activity table with coloring pages, games,
