we will discuss the Middle School Concept,
our Patriot Gain System, local and state ac-
ademic requirements, scheduling, and ath-
letic eligibility. Current 7th and: 8th grade
students will be present to share with you
what being a Patriot means to them.

Family Fun Night at Cleveland County
Fair — Saturday, May 14th, 6 p.m. at the
Cleveland County Fairgrounds, 1751 East
Marion Street, Shelby. Come and shag the
night away with Ocean Boulevard. Admis-
sion is $5 for adults (13 and up), and chil-
dren 12 and under get in free. Gates open at

Kings Mountain Annual Easter Egg
Hunt — Saturday, April 23rd, at 10 a.m. at
the Children’s Playground at the YMCA on
Highway 161 (Cleveland Ave.). CVS Phar-
macy will provide bottled water and be
available to take pictures of children with
the Easter Bunny, offering a discount on a 4
x 6 print and a drawing for an Easter basket
for a lucky boy and girl. A golden egg will
be mixed in with the other eggs in each age
category and each child that finds the

mane Society’s 7th Annual Paws and
Balls Golf Tournament — Shotgun start at
1 p.m. at the Deer Brooke Country Club,

National Tourism Day — Wednesday,

Blood Drive at Swooger: Red Cross
blood drive will be held at Swooger’s Tues-

The Easter Egg Roll: April 25th, 11
a.m., at the Presidential Culinary Museum,
Inn of the Patriots, 301 Cleveland Ave.,
Grover. Cash and candy egg hunt. Free for
all kids. They will follow along with the
White House Easter Egg Roll and “bring a
spoon for the roll”.
Job Fair: Thursday, April 14th, 9 a.m. —
2 p.m. at the Cleveland Mall. The fair is
sponsored by the NC Employment Security
Commission. The jobs rang from manufac-
turing to clerical. Open to all.
