She was the widow of Martin L.-Hall, Jr. of Clover, SC The funeral was con- ducted Thursday, July 7, at 2 p.m. at Clover, SC Presbyte- rian Church. Interment was in Woodside Cemetery in Clover, SC. Margaret B. Neely GROVER - Margaret Beam Neely, 92, of 312 Mulberry Rd., Grover, died rm mmm Satur- day, July 9, 2011 a t Cleve- land Pines Nursing Center in Shelby. Born in County, SC, she was daugh- ter of the late Samuel Mon- Cherokee roe and Mollie Brown Beam and was preceded in death by six brothers and four sis- ters. An active member of Bethany Baptist Church, she was a former Sunday school teacher, choir member and church secretary. She loved to read her Bible and to work word search puzzles and watch her Atlanta Braves. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and Maw Maw and a friend of everyone. She retired from Minette Mills of Grover after 42 years. Surviving are her hus- band of 64 years, Knox Neely of the home; son, Mike Neely of Grover; daughter, Vickie Neely Hoke and husband, Craig of Columbus, MS; five grand- children: Tommy Dover, * Eddie Hoke and wife, Dani, Abbie Richardson and hus- band, Brian, Sean Hoke and Megan Burke and husband, Josh; and four great-grand- children. The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, July 13, at 2 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church of Grover. Rev. Scott Hardin will offi- ciate and interment will be in Grover Cemetery. Wednesday, July 13, 2011 ~ JUY 10: A resident of Rhodes Ave. reported damage to property. WRECKS JULY 1: Officer Bryan C. McGinnis reported that a 1993 Honda operated by April Wa- genknecht, 108 Timms St., rear- ended a 1996 Ford operated by Clyde Bess, Jr., 119 School St. The accident happened .on NC 216. Property damages were minor. JULY 1: Cpl. K.L. Hamrick charged Elaine Chapman, 167 Range Rd., with DWI and hit and run after she pulled into a parking space at 1012 Shelby Rd. and struck a parked 1998 Buick. Dam- ages were minor. JULY 2: Officer B.C. McGin- nis reported that Shelton Crockett, 110 Ridge View Dr., and Ashley Lauren Ray, 120 Spurgeon Dr., were traveling east on East Gold Street. The 2003 Crockett Dodge struck the Ray 1997 Saab doing a total of $1,000 damage. JULY 3: Officer B.M. Black charged Gregory K. Young II, 103 School St., with driving while li- cense revoked and hit and run property damage after a one-vehi- cle wreck. Young was operating a 1996 Chevrolet on Margrace Rd., turned onto Ark Street, fin off the road and hit a mailbox and speed limit sign and left the scene. Traveling at a high rate of speed, the car left the road on Maner Rd and into the yard at 201 Maner Rd. and hit a tree. Cleveland County EMS transported Young to Cleveland Regional Medical Center for treatment. Property damages totaled $6300. JULY 4: Officer Brian McGinnis said a 2001 Ford oper- ated by Rebecca Duncan, 333 Oak Grove Rd., bumped a 2003 Ford owned by the City of Kings Mountain at the parking lot at the KM Fire Museum. Damages were minor. JULY 4: Sgt. J.C. Shull said Gregory Woodard, Mount Zion, IL, hit his brakes and swerved his 2004 Kia to avoid another vehicle stopped in the highway. He lost control of the vehicle on the US 74 East Bypass. Property damage totaled $3,000. JULY 4: Cpl. K.L. Putnam charged Danny Keith Camp, 527 Stoney Point Rd., with no insur- ance and damage to real property after a two-car wreck on Highway 74 Business involving his 1990 Honda and a 1996 Honda oper- ated by Dusty Walker Capps, 913 Church St. Putnam said that as Camp was attempting to pass Capps an unknown vehicle ap- proached traveling west on High- way 74 Business and “Camp came back over into the correct lane and while doing so struck the Capps vehicle. The Camp vehicle left the roadway striking the law office of Tim Moore at 305 E. King Street.” The front porch area of the house and a sign in the front yard were damaged $8,000. The two vehicles were damaged $4,800. JULY 5: A 16-year-old driver told Ptl. K. Wajda that he was put- ting his drink into a drink holder while making a wide right turn and his 2002 Ford bumped a 2006 Toyota operated by Paul Gaffney, 113 Waco Rd. The accident hap- pened at Deal and E. Ridge streets with very little damage, according to Wajda. JULY 6: Officer K.L. Ham- rick said a 2011 Buick operated by Margaret Hunter of Marion struck a 2007 Toyota operated by Patricia Anne - Bolin, 803 Southridge Dr. The accident hap- pened on US 74 Business. Prop- erty damages totaled $2000. JULY 6: Officer K.L. Ham- rick said a 2002 Hyundai operated by Elizabeth Rodriguez, Lowell, struck a 2007 Pontiac operated by Susan Willis, 805 Kingswood Ct. * The accident happened at US 74 Business and NC 216. Property damages totaled $3,000. JULY 7: Officer S.M. Skinner said Eliza Starnes, 131 Matthews Dr., operating a 2000 Cadillac rear-ended a 2007 Ford operated by Amy Lynn Clayton of Grover at the drive-through at Kentucky Fried Chicken on E. King Street. Property damages totaled $600. JULY 7: Officer K.L. Ham- rick said a 2003 Ford operated by Casey Lynn Ramsey, 522 Bell Rd., struck a 2004 Ford operated by Susan Davis, 631 Oak Grove Rd., at a traffic light on US 74 Business at Sims Street. Property damages totaled $4,000. JULY 7: Officer Bryan McGinnis said vehicles operated by Cameron Drake of Indian Trail and Kay Mobley of Bessemer City were traveling on NC 216 South and Mobley was turning into a parking space along 216.
