At right: Rita McBrayer won a first place ribbon for her “Mrs. Trash” creation from a shoe box, plastic bags, magazine, drink can, drink bottle, cloth, napkins, potted meat can lid and ribbon. Several students won recognition in the Kings Mountain Woman’s Club Fall Festival last week for turning trash into artistic treasures. See the full ‘Trashformation’ story on page 6B.
