They will have Piedmont ‘S’ Gaugers Train Exhibit and the Barber House opens for candlelight tours. Kings Mountain Christmas Parade — Saturday, Dec. 3, in downtown Kings Mountain. The 1929 Ware Mill truck from the museum’s permanent collection will be part of the parade. Museum open late — Friday, Dec. 9, from 5:30 — 8:30 p.m. with tours of houses. Santa drops by the museum — Satur- day, Dec. 10, from 1 — 3 p.m. at the Kings Mountain Historical Museum. Workshops at the museum — Saturday, Dec. 17, Bill Ware and his fellow train enthusiasts will be conducting work- shops throughout the day on building scenic elements. Cash for Christmas promotion — until Dec. 2. The Kings Mountain Historical Museum, although a few blocks away from the main thoroughfare, is consid- ered to be a part of Downtown Kings Mountain.
