A parade of festive lawnmow- ers, bikes, vehicles, tractors, fire trucks, scooters, golf carts and car- olers on foot traveled throughout the Moss Lake-bordering community wishing neighbors a jolly Merry Christmas. The procession stopped at houses along the way to sing cho- ruses of Christmas songs. At the end of the parade, the carolers stopped at the home of Doug Sharp for homemade cookies, candies, treats and cider. After the parade, Santa was available for any last minute "rocking chair" requests. Wood- ‘bridge's 18th annual Christmas pro- cession is considered to be the "longest running lawnmower parade in North Carolina." : CONTRIBUTED PHOTO (Left) Carolers take off down streets in the Woodbridge Community near Moss Lake in the 18th annual Lawnmower Christmas Parade. are brightly shinning Photos by KYRA TURNER Hundreds of spectators strolled through Mountain Rest Cemetery on the night of Christmas Eve, Dec. 24th, to see the illuminating splendor of 6,000 lights which shone on graves.
