Kay Frances Guin, 75, of Kings Mountain passed away on March 29, 2012 at Hospice at Wendover, Shelby. She was born August 4, 1936 in Cleveland County, daughter of the late Zeb and Virginia Green Grigg. Kay was a member of Christian Freedom Baptist Church in Kings Moun- tain. She played flt h ec piano for the N ew Eternal Life Trio and several different churches. Mrs. Guin was a licensed: North Carolina Realtor. She was the "Best Mom" ever and will be dearly missed. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Christian Freedom Baptist Church, Kings Mountain, officiated by the Rev. Mike Chambers and special speaker Rev. Steve Grigg. Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospital. Born in Dickson County, Va., daughter of the late Marcus and Lucy Adams Conley, she was also pre- ceded in death by her hus- band of 61 years, Floyd Joe Morgan. She was a homemaker, of the Baptist Faith, and a lov- ing wife, mother, and mother-in-law. Surviving are her daugh- ter, Deborah Morgan Ray- field and husband, Larry, of Kings Mountain; granddog Bentley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
