NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Kings Mountain City Council will
hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June
25,2013 at 6:00 pm in the Kings Moun-
tain City Hall, 101 W. Gold Street, Kings
Mountain, NC. The purpose of this hear-
ing is to receive citizen comments about
possible Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) applications that may be
submitted by the City to the North Car-
olina Department of Commerce (DOC).
DOC has announced that CDBG funds
are available for the categories of Infra-
structure, Small Business and Entrepre-
neurial Assistance, Economic
Development, Talent Enhancement Ca-
pacity Building Program, and the NC Cat-
alyst Program for eligible local
governments in North Carolina. Detailed
information on these grant categories -
may be found at www.nccommerce.com.
These funds are provided by the U.S. De-
partment of Housing and Urban Devel-
opment to servé low and moderate
income persons and households.
All interested persons are invited to at-
tend this hearing. Persons with disabili-
