Vacation ‘Bible School Camp
will be held Saturday, July 13, from
10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Grover Church of
God, 201 N. Main St., Grover. All

Mount Zion revival
A “Spiritual Awakening” Mount
Zion Revival and Homecoming is
planned by Mount Zion Baptist
Church, 220 N. Watterson Street, in
Kings Mountain.
Homecoming Day will be cele-
brated at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 14.
Rev. Michael Isaac, pastor of Shoal
Creek Church in Shelby, will de-
liver the sermon. Revival services
will begin on Monday, July 15, and
continue nightly at 7 pm. through
Thursday, July 18. Revivalist for
the week is the Rev. Donnie Dye,
pastor of Zion Pilgrim Baptist
Church in Chester, SC. :

Safe Harbor supper
SAFE HARBOR COMMU-

ground Ave., will sponsor a Poor
Man’s supper and gospel singing
Saturday, July 27, with supper at 4
p.m. of pinto beans, slaw, fried po-
tatoes, cornbread, and variety of
cobbler pies for dessert and drinks.
Plates are $6 for adults, $3 for chil-
dren 4-10 and under 3 free. “Hand-
ful of Purpose” will sing at 6 p.m.
All proceeds benefit the Vacation
. Bible School fund.
