CLUB. — The Dough Makers Investment

POSITIVE ATTITUDES WALKING
CLUB - There is an open invitation to all
Kings Mountain ladies to join the Positive
Attitudes Walking Club. The club members
walk in various downtown areas of Kings
Mountain during lunch hours. An inspira-

BACKPACK PROJECT — Please bring in
non-perishable food items for our backpack
project. These backpacks go to students who
need a little extra food over the weekend.
Backpacks are returned each Monday, filled
on Thursday, and handed out to students
when they leave on Friday. Suggested items
are: individual cereal packs (can be eaten
without milk), Pop Tarts, individual prepared
dinners (Mac & Cheese, spaghetti, etc.), fruit
cups, applesauce, pudding cups, Beenie Wee-
nies, peanut butter, juice boxes, crackers or
cookies.
DOCUMENT SHREDDING will be on
Monday, July 22 from 9:30 — 10:30 a.m. in
the Craft Room. A volunteer will be on hand
to assist with the shredding of your personal
papers.
COMPUTER CLASSES taught by Pat
Bolte will change to only Mondays from 9
a.m. — | p.m. for the months of July and Au-
gust. In September, classes will resume to
their regular schedule.
S.H.O.P items in July are spaghetti noo-
dles. Just drop off your donations at the Cen-
ter Monday — Friday between 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Remember, you don't have to be a senior to
help with this project. All items are donated
to the Crisis Ministry of Kings Mountain.

SUMMER READING PROGRAM THEME
The 2013 Summer Reading Program is
open to all, birth through adults, with pro-
grams, prize drawings, story hours, a reading
club, and more. For registration or more in-

GASTON COLLEGE - The Solo Exhibit
has been reschedule for July 22-25 at Gaston
College Dialpiaz Bldg. Any questions about
the course contact Instructor Carl Childs at
carlsart2010@gmail.com. This course is -
going to prepare the artist to complete their
Solo Exhibit. A Solo Exhibit is a graduation
requirement for a AFA, BFA & MFA. Stu-
dents, parents and teachers at each level are
welcomed. For the seated class at Gaston
College, there is a age requirement of 16
years old minimum. Any junior artist should
have their parent or guardian contact in-
structor to make arrangements for Solo Ex-
hibit instruction. Be ready for the challenge!

Management will be taught during this class,
limited edition of Solo Exhibit Book avail-
able (Free Copy), continued learning/meet-
ing after seated class, search for location to
