It admits one person to every KMHS home regular season sporting event and in- cludes a reserved seat for every home football game as well as a reserved parking pass and membership to the KMHS Booster Club. All seats with backs cost an ad- ditional $10 for the season. - The Mountaineer Pass is $150 and admits two people to every KMHS home regu- lar season sporting event. Four violinist brothers and their symphonic friends join forces, bending and blending genres while delivering a powerful mix of classical chops, blazing bluegrass and rock and roll. In October the comic ge- nius, virtuoso Master of the Impossible Tomas Kubinek will perform and pianist Emile Pandolfi returns to the CSDA stage. In November the United States Navy Jazz Band the Commodores will bring their eclectic mix of traditional big band music and exciting vocal arrangements to Clover audiences. In January, patrons can begin the New Year with Dallas Brass and California Dreaming, the sun-kissed song and dance tribute to an era that introduced the world to the good vibrations of love and peace and summer- time fun. February brings two fam- ily events. The Tarradiddle Players will present the clas- sic fairy tale, “Hansel and Gretel” and the juggling per- formers, the Fettucini Broth- ers, will be on stage. Singer-songwriters Jimmy Webb and Kathy Mattea round out the season in March with classic hits and new tunes. Miss Gastonia pageant slated at Gaston College The Miss Gastonia Scholarship pageant will be held Sunday, August 11,at 4 p.m. in Myers Auditorium at Gaston College, 201 High- way 321, South Dallas. Contestants will compete in interview, talent, fitness/swimsuit and evening wear categories. Four young women will be crowned- Miss Gastonia, Miss Gaston County, Miss Gastonia’s Outstanding Teen, and Miss Gaston County’s Outstand- ing Teen. The winners will represent the region in the 2014 Miss North Carolina pageant. The public is invited. Tickets cost $20 and will be available at the door. The young American pi- anist is billed as an exciting virtuoso who, with each passing season, is becoming more and more sought after by audiences worldwide and showered with superlatives . by critics for his passionate artistry and amazing tech- nique.
