Library to offer
digital music
from their website
Mauney Memorial Li-
brary has joined Library
Ideas network of Public Li-
brary websites that offer ac-
cess to over 7 million songs,
including Sony Music Enter-
tainment’s catalogue of leg-
endary artists.
The Freegal Music Ser-
vice will allow the library to
increase the size and diversity
of its collection by offering
access to over 28,000 music
labels from 101 different
countries.
Under the terms of the
agreement, registered card-
holders of the Mauney Me-
morial Library can download
a select number of Freegal
Music MP3 files each week
at no direct cost to library
cardholders via mauneyli-
brary.org. The library will
underwrite the purchase of
the music. =~ The Freegal
Music Service also has pop-
ular music videos for down-
load.
Over 5,000 libraries
around the world subscribe
to the Freegal Music Service.
The Freegal Music Ser-
vice has free mobile apps for
registered cardholders of sub-
scribing libraries. The Free-
gal Music apps are available
in the Apple® App Store and
Google Play®.

2 Ibs. Ground beef
1% cup chopped onion
2 8 oz. Cans tomato sauce
1 cup chili sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder
: teaspoon salt
Ya teaspoon pepper
Brown meat and onion. Drain. Add remaining
ingredients and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
EASY CHINESE PORK CHOPS

1 box wild rice mix, long grain
1 can Chinese vegetables
1 can cream of mushroom soup
pork chops
soy sauce
In buttered casserole, mix rice with water
according to package directions. Mix together
vegetables with soup’ pour over rice mixture.
Top with pork chops, one inch thick, and
a little soy sauce. Cover with foil. Bake at
350 degrees for 1 % hours. If pork chops are
thinner, shorten baking time.

onion salt
garlic salt
celery salt
paprika
Sprinkle desired chicken pieces with the
spices and place in brown paper grocery bag,
folding edges to seal. Place bag with chicken
on cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 1
hour. Children adore this.

OYSTER CASSEROLE
Kay Price
1 qt. Oysters
4 eggs, beaten
1 1/3 cups milk
1 1/3 sticks butter,melted
2 cups soda crackers,crumbled
Line a 9x13 inch casserole with cracker
crumbs; add oysters. Mix milk, eggs, and 1
cup butter; pour over oysters. Top with crumbs
and 1/3 cup melted butter. Bake at 350 degrees
for 45 minutes.
DIRTY RICE

1 ' cups raw rice
1 can beef broth soup
1 can onion soup
1 stick margarine
Melt margarine Pour into 2 quart casserole;
add soups and rice. Cover and bake at 325
degrees for 1 % hoursor at 350 for 1 hour or
until rice is tender.
PECAN PIE
Peggy Bridges
1 stick margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
2 eggs
1 cup pecans
1 deep dish pie shell
Combine all ingredients and pour into shell.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
