Undercover narcotics buy leads to arrests Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investi- gators arrested two people Friday after an undercover of- ficer purchased 30 grams of metham- phetamine valued at $1,800 to $3,000 depending on how it is packaged for sale. Following the purchase narcotics investigators and Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Steve Grinnell and Ist Sgt. Allen Manns stopped the suspect vehicle on the Highway 321 northbound ramp at Exit 20. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident. After re- ceiving consent to search the vehicle, officers ered all precursors needed to make methamphetamine. Richard Alton Welsh, 32, of 619 Chestnut Ridge Road, Kings Mountain was charged with one felony count each of trafficking methamphetamine, maintaining a vehi- cle for a controlled substance, and con- spiracy. He was also charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug parapher- nalia. Welsh was discov-' placed in the Lin- coln County Deten- tion Center under a $120,000 secured bond. Windy Arlene Stroessner, 40, 1002 Mary’s Grove Church Road, Kings Mountain, was charged with one felony count each of Traffick- ing Methamphet- amine, possession/ distribute meth precursor, and con- spiracy. She was also charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug parapher- nalia. Stroessner was jailed under a $100,000 secured bond. Grover Church of God ‘Tent Revival’ Grover Church of God Tent revival begins Sun- day evening on May 10 and continues through Saturday evening May 16. Evangelist Phil Whitley of Florida is leading the service at 7 p.m. nightly at the large field at the corner of Main and Cherry Streets in Grover. Everyone welcome. Worcestershire sauce ¥4 c. molasses 15 cup chopped onions 2 Thsp. Brown sugar 1 tsp. Prepared mustard 4 slices bacon Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble. Saute onions in bacon drippings. Mix onions, bacon and all other ingredients. Pour into a 1 % quart casserole dish. Bake, uncovered, for approximately 1 % hours at 325 degrees.
