Gas- ton Street on April 30 in reference to a breaking and entering and animal cru- elty report. Officers said it appeared someone jumped a fence in the yard before stealing an ax, shovel and propane tank. The dog's body was found but its head was not. Libby, the beagle, was adopted by Dennis and Shir- ley Morrow of Kings Moun- “tain through Tri-County Animal Rescue, Inc. in 2011, In 2011, due to a serious eye disease a veterinarian had to remove her eyes in order for her to survive. “This did not stop Libby from having a wonderful life. She was adopted by a very loving family who cherished her for the past four years," Joann Hager of Tri-County Animal Rescue said. An anonymous donor gave Tri-County Animal Rescue Inc. $5,000 to start the fund. The reward has grown to $20,000 for infor- mation leading to the arrest and conviction of the per- sons or persons responsible Libby, a deaf and blind beagle, was found decapitated on April 30.
