Millions of students partie-
ipate in online learning each
year, and that number contifi-
ues to grow, according to the
Sloan Consortium. A growing
number of colleges and univer-
sities now offer distance learn-
ing courses, and some students
find it possible to complete
their degrees without ever vis-
iting campus.
Online learning enables
students to take classes accord-
ing to their own schedules and
complete coursework without
having to commute to campus.
This is particularly attractive to
students who work full timer
