On those dates a Billy Graham Film Festival will be presented. The films to be shown and their dates are: Thursday, Septembrr 23 “Lost Generation’”; Friday, September 24 “For Pete's Sake”; and Saturday, Septem ber 25 "Challenge To Youth" The flbn, “ Lost Gener ation" Is the newest of Billy Graham films and tells the story of today's wandering generation and gives the ans wer to the problem s they bee, Jesus Christ. “For Pete’s Sake" is cne of the most dra matic religious films ever produced and has been won derfully used of God. The Saturday night film is of a crusade service conduc ted by Billy Graham in which he preaches on the subject, "A Challenge To Youth,” All of the films are in color and will be shown at 7:30 p.m. There will be no admission charge, although an offering for the Billy Graham Evange listic Association will be re ceived, The people of Second Baptist along with Rev. &- gene Land issue a cordial we- ■ Icome to the entire community to attend these services. (Photo by Jim Belt) Mrs. Howey Services Held Mrs. Annie Mae Howey, 82, of 202 N. Piedmont Ave, pas sed away Tuesday morning at 5:30 at the home after several years of illness. She was a partner in An- sells Beauty Shop and was the widow of the late Price M. Howie who died in 1930, She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. G. Robert Win chester. Surviving are: one brother, R. 0. Winchester, of Matth ews, N.r.; one sister, Mrs. T, C. Haigler of Monroe, and a number of nieces and nephews. Services were held Wednes day at 2:00 at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel, con ducted by Rev. Paschal Wagh and Rev. Charles Easley. Bu rial was in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Union County. Yates Harbison Gets 25 Year Award Yates Harbison, Manager of the Winn-Dixie store in Kings Mountain since 1948 will be honored today at 10:30 for 25 years of service with ’Vlnn- Dixie. He and his wife will receive an engraved silver service platter, presented by W. R. Latham, Area Supervisor. A native of Morganton, Har bison and bis wife, Margaret, reside at Woodslde Drive. They have two children, David and Ann. He is a veteran of World War n and a former Jaycee. Virgle Roberts Morgan, 73, of 205 Peach Street, Shelby, died September 18 in Cleveland Memorial Hospital. She was formerly of Bessemer City, and was the wife of J. Foster Morgan. She is also survived by one daughter, Mrs. Delores Elam of Gastonia and 3 grandchild ren and two great grandchil dren. Funeral services were held Monday at 3 p.m. at Sisk East Chapel in Bessemer City. Burial was in Bessemer Cltj’ Cemetery. Nashville singer and song writer, Bob Yarbrough, will head a big show at the Cross roads Music Park here onSep- tember 25th, Yarbrough’s big hit,’‘You ’re just more a woman”, hit Billboard Magazine’s charts two weeks after it was relea sed.
