A good recipe for this time of year when apples are so plentiful is given to us by Rina Bedford. The Bedford family moved to Kings Moun tain this past summer. Rina Is from Rhode Island and her husband, John, is a trans planted Englishman. They have two sons: Neville, a se cond grader at North School, and bn, who is in kindergar ten. APPLE CAKE 1 3/4 Cups sugar i/2 Cup Oil 3 Eggs 1 Tsp. Soda 1/4 Tsp. Salt 2 Cups Flour 1 Tsp. Cinnamon 4 Cups Apples (peeled and cubed) Mix all ingredients together Pour into greased tube pan.
