Cubs, and Boy Scouts from Kings Mountain attended and were part ol the capacity crowd which left standing room only. Excited winner of the door prize - a mlnl-blke - was Jamie Ivey, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Tbommasson, of Kings Mountain. Jamie attended the game with 12 members of Den 1, Cub Scout Pack 98, and their Emilies. Pack 98 meets at the Boyce Memorial A.R.P. Church and the den mothers are Nancy McGill and Claudia Grissom. OBITUARIES COLE Lewis Cole, 37, of 109 N. City St., K.M. died unexpect edly at 8:50 p.m. Sunday in Kings Mountain Hospital. A native of Kings Mountain, he was the son of Mrs. Mary Everhart Cole of Kings Moun tain and the late Clyde Cole. Surviving in addition to his mother are two sisters, Mrs. Floyd Dover and Miss Vir ginia Cole of Kings Mountain. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Kings Mountain, where funeral ser vices will be conducted today at 3:00 p.m. by the Rev. Rob ert Mann. Burial will follow in Moun tain Rest Cemetery. JACKSON Fred Samuel Jackson, 57, formerly of Kings Mountain, died at Hancock General Hos pital. He was the son of the late Ed and LouellaSmlth Jackson. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Zelma Gillespie Jack- son; one daughter, Mrs. Yates Huntsinger of Dallas, N.C.; one son, Carl Jackson of Bay St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Bagwell of Gastonia, N.C.; one brother Woodrow Jackson of Bay St. Louis. Funeral services were held Saturday at Sisk East Chapel in Bessemer City, N.C. The Rev. Mike Morrow officiated. Burial was in Bessemer City Memorial City. DAVIS WATTERSON Mrs. Faye Boheler Watter- son, 58, of Grover, died at 1:45 p.m. Friday in Kings Mountain Hospital following an illness of several mo.iths. A native of York, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jack- son Boheler and the widow of George Andrew Watterson. She is survived by one son; Ronnie Watterson of Shelby; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Fite, Mrs. Dean Spears and Mrs. Larry Wells, all of Kings Mountain; four brothers. Forest Boheler and Romey Boheler of Clover, S.C.; Kelly Boheler of Grover and Lester Boheler of Chester, S.C.; eight sisters, Mrs. Carrie Griffin of York, S.C, Miss Alice Boheler, Mrs. Clyde Whitworth and Mrs. Norman Diggers, all of Clover,S.C., Mrs. Sam Beam of Grover, Mrs. Paul Wallace and Mrs. Dewey Allen, both of Kings Creek, S.C., and Miss Janie Boheler of Kings Mountain; and eight grandchildren. She was a member ol First Baptist Church of Grover. Funeral services were held Sunday at the First Baptist Church. Rev. Paul Millwood and Rev. L.D. Scruggs officiated. Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery. Albert F. Davis, 65, of Rt. 1, B.C. died Dec. 12, He was the son of Brison C. Davis. His wife is Ester Carpenter. Funeral services were handled by Sisk East Chapel. Funeral services were held at Pruett Methodist Church. Services were conducted by Rev. Pheagan. Burial was in Landers Cha pel Cemetery. ADAIR Francis Melton Adair, age 48, of 216 Thornburg Dr., KM Died Dec. 11, at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of Mrs. Thomas Lee Melton, K.M. Her husband survived her, Walter L. Adair, Jr. On'' son, Paul Adair, K.M., one daughter, Mrs. James Barron, Charlotte; two broth ers, Edwin L. Melton, Hickory and Joel B. Melton, Spartan burg. One sister, Mrs. Henry Fite K.M., two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday at 2;00atHarrisFun- eral Home. Services were conducted by Rev. Russell Fitts and Mit chell Truitt. Burial was in Oakland Cem etery in Gaffney. FRALEY James T. Fraley of Dallas, ' died Dec. 7 at the Veterans Hospital in Salisbury, His parents were Mr. and Mrs. Henry Blair Fraley. He is survived by Mrs. Iva M. Fraley. Funeral services were held Sunday at Sisk EAST Chapel. Rev. Charles Curtis and Bobbv Bodenhamer officiated. Burial was in Long Creek Cemetery. LAHRMER Julie Ann Lahrmer infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dar rel Roger Lahrmer' of 1504 Shelby Rd., died at birth Dec. 14 at Kings Mtn. Hospital. She is survived by one bro ther, Danny, two sisters, Janis and Beveral, ail of the home. Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ernest L.ahr- mer of Oak Hill, Ohio. CARPENTER Aileen Ormand Carpenter, age 74 of 312 West Gold St., KM died Dec. 14 at Kings Mtn. Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. BatieMeek Ormand. She was the wife of the late Charles Troy Carpenter,Sr. She was a member of the Central United Methodist Church. Surviving her are two sons. Meek Carpenter, Greenville, and Charles T.
