Aldrich, of Gastonia officiated. Mr. James Busby, of Bess emer City was organist, Mrs. Russell Watson, of Kings Mountain, pianist and Mr.Al- ”en Jolley, of King Mountain, soloist sang, Wljether Thou Goest and Because and The Lords as the benediction. The church was decorated with a background of Kenta Palms and Ferns. In front of the Palms was an arrange ment of white chrysanthe mums, snapdragons, and gla- dlolas. On either side, there were two tall brass candle holders with cathedral tapers. Also, on either side, were matching arrangements of the afore-mentioned flowers. Daughter of Mr, and Mrs. W. Brown Ware, of Kings Mountain, the bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a formal gown of origi nal design created of silk or ganza and rasepointhandellp- ped Chantilly lace pased over sUk faille. Her veil was a full-length mantilla of Imported English Illusion with a deep border of matching lace. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of white roses, step- hanatis and gyposphillas. Mrs. James Busby, of Bes semer City, cousin of the bride was Matron-of-Honor. Miss Katherine Rebecca Tho mas, of Gastonia, sister of the bridegroom, served as Mald- of-Honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Don ald Ware, sister-in-law of the bride and Miss MaryJoHord, both of Kings Mountain; also. Miss Sharon Knight, of Gas tonia, cousin of the bride groom. Each attendant wore floor length dresses of petal-pink silk chiffon posed over faille taffeta. The empire bodice featured a high neckline out lined with pink venlse lace. Two rows of lace centered the front of bodice accented with small covered satin buttons and full sleeves with lace- trimmed cuffs. Theddrtwas softly gatberi^ to the bodice. A bias fold of pink satin en circled the waistline finished with a front bow. Headpieces were small tublar bows and pink daisies with deep pink centers. Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. Tho mas, parents of the bride groom are from Gastonia. Mr. Thomas served as his son’s best man. Ushers were Mr. Donald L. Ware, of Kings Mountain, brother of thebrlde; Mr. Wil liam Brown Ware, Jr., of Kings Mountain, also brother of the bride. Mr. James Tho mas, of Plalnlnville, Conn., brother of the bridegroom; Mr. Billy L. Farris, Marettia, Georgia and Mr. Phillip 0. Wallace, Greenville, N.C. The bride is a graduate of Kings Mountain High School, and attended Kings’ College and formerly associated with Foust Textiles. The bridegroom graduated from Ashley High School and Gaston College Technical Di vision. He also served a tour of duty with the U.S. Army In Vietnam. He is now employ ed as an engineer associate with Western Electric in At lanta, Georgia. Following a trip to Nassau the couple will make their home at 1119 Commons Lane, Marietta, Georgia.
