Eastern Standard Time, throughout the Kings Moun tain School District of Cle veland County, which is comprised of the territory hereinafter described, at which there wUl be submit ted to the qualified voters of said Kings Mountain School District the question <rf iss uing not exceeding $2,500, 000 School Bonds lor and in behalf of said School Dis trict lor the purpose ol pro viding funds, with any other available funds, for erecting, enlarging, altering and equipping school buildings in the Kings Mountain Sch ool District of Cleveland County, including the con struction of a middle sch ool, an auditorium for the high school, and improve ments and additional facil ities at the several schools in said school district in order to maintain the nine months’ school term as re quired by Section 2 of Arti cle K of the Constitution, and levying a sufficient tax for the payment thereof. The boundary lines of the Kings Mountain School Dis trict of Cleveland County are as follows; "BEGINNING at the inter section of the Cleveland County-Gaston County line with the North Carolina- South Carolina line, thence west with the State Line to Buffalo Creek, thence north with the Buffalo Creek to the mouth of Beason’s Creek, thence up Beason’s Creek with the old #3 Township Special School Tax District line to the mouth of John McSwaln’s spring branch at Buffalo Creek, thence North with Buffalo Creek to a poi nt in Coleman Goforth’s farm due west the south boundary of Willis William’s farm, thence with the north ern boundary of the Bryan Poston Farm to the Oak Grove-Stony Point Road, thence south with said road to James C. Turner’s west boundary, thence east to Muddy Fork Creek, then south to Persimmon Creek, thence with said creek through the farms of Joe A. GoforUi, Coleman Goforth, R. A. Ware, James M, Lackey, J.L. Lackey, R. L. Lackey, Lawrence Bell, H. A. McFarland, touching the farm of William Whetstine on the north side, through the farms of R. L. Plonk, (second tract) C.S. Plonk, then east to the Gaston County - Cleveland County line, thence south with the Cleveland - Gaston county line to the BEGINNING. A map showing the bound aries of the Kings Mountain School District has been prepared and is available for inspection at the office of the Kings Mountain City Board of Education, 500 West Parker Street, Kings Mountain, North Carolina. If said bonds are issued a tax will be levied upon all taxable property within the Kings Mountain School Dis trict of Cleveland County sufficient to pay the princi pal ol and the Interest on said bonds. For said election the regu lar registration books lor el ections in the County of Clcvclaua will be used and the registration books, pro cess or records wlU contin ue to be open for the regis tration of qualified persons and the acceptance cd r^is- tration applications on Mon- ■day through Friday of each week between the hours of y a.m. and 5 p.m. at the of fice of the County Board ol Elections at the County Courthouse in Shelby, and such days are Chaillenge Days. The registrars will not attend the voting’places ex cept on the date of the elec tion. The last day for new reg istration of those not now registered under Cleveland Count’s permanent regis tration system is Friday, November 17, 1972, Qualified voters who have moved residence from one precinct or township to an other and have not transfer red their registration should contact the County Board ol Elections at it s office at the County Courthouse in Shel by, or any registrar in the County, and transfer their regis^tion. The last day lor trans ferring registration is Fri day, November 17, 1972. Qualified voters who are not certain whether they are registered should con tact the County Board ol Elections at the office of said Board in Shelby men tioned above. The registrars and judges appointed by the County Board ol Elections will serve as registrars and ju dges, respectively, for the election.
