Dr. Charles Edwards officiated and burial was in Mountain Rest Cemetery. MRS. FANNIE PARKER. WHITAKER Miss Hull, of 108 Wells St., Kings Mountain, died Friday afternoon at her home. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. and Mrs. George M. Hull. GROVER- Funeral services for Mrs. Carrie Sue Price, 84, were conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. at Sisk Funeral Home Chapel, Kings Mountain, by the Rev. Paul Millwood. Burial was in the Grover Cemetery. Mrs. Price, a retired textile worker, died Thurs., Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. in Kings Mountain Convalescent Center. Surviving IS one sister, Mrs. R. H. Burton of Kings Mountain. Harris Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John W. Greene of Grover; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Fannie Parker Whitaker, 76, of 1641 Conrad Avenue, Gastonia died Tuesday in Gaston Memorial Hospital. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Johnnie Lynch Wilford of South Carolina, and Mrs. Joe Mc Donald of Gastonia; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at First United Methodist Church by the Rev. W.H. Pheagin Jr. Burial was in Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery. Sisk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. MRS. Clarence Hampton and the Rev. L.D. Scruggs. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Annie Skipper Hamrick, 47, of 407 S. Eleventh Street Kings Mountain, died Tuesday in Kings Mountain Hospital. Mrs. Boheler, of Rt. 2, Kings Mountain, died Sunday in Kings Mountain Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Everette Hamrick and widow of James Kelly Boheler, who died January 31. Surviving are three sons, Dan and Roy Boheler of Kings Mountain and Carl Boheler of Clover. S.C.; one daughter, Mrs. Landrum Allen of Shelby; one brother, Artllir Hamrick of Blacksburg, S.C.; one sister, Mrs. Mamie Gibbons of Kings Mountain; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Lemuel Hamrick; two daughters. Miss Wanda Hamrick of the home, and Mrs. Debra Lee of Bessemer City; two sons, Roger Hamrick and Clifford Hamrick, both of Bessemer City; two sisters, Mrs. Bertie Scoggins of Bessemer City, and Mrs. Kate Couch of Spindale; four brothers. Bun, Joe, Ed, and John Skipper, all of Rutherfrodton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 14 at 2 p.m. at Sisk East Chapel by the Rev. R.C. Franks. Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Brown, 42, were conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. at VestibuleAME Zion Church by the Rev. Andrew Brown Jr. and the Rev. M.L. Campbell. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Brown of Rt. 4, Kings Mountain, died at 12:30 a.m. Thurs., Feb. 7 at Kings Mountain Hospital. A native of York County, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Will and Daisy Pierce Davis. She was a member of the church where services were held. ■ Surviving are her husband, Sammy Brown Jr.; one foster son, Ricky Starnes of the home; one brother, William Davis of Charlotte; five sisters, Mrs. Cynthia Lowry, Miss Lola Davis and Mrs. Annie M. Palmer, Ph.- D., will speak at First Presbyterian Church Sun., Feb. 17 at the 11 a.m. worship service. Dr. Palmer is a native of Hagerstown, Md. He received his BA degree from Get tysburg College; BD degree from Lutheran Theological Seminary, Gettysburg, Pa.; MS and Ph.D. degrees in social psychology from Ohio University. Currently in his fourth year at Davidson, Dr. Palmer is a professor in the psychology department. He is married and has two children. Tonight a group will attend the Ray Stevens concert at Gardner-Webb College. Earlier tonight Rev. and Mrs. Paul Riggs will attend an honor banquet for the members of the Ministerial Board of Associates of Gard ner-Webb. Two of the young people. Tommy Bridges and Karla Russell, were chosen by the youth departments of the church as representatives to ^tettd the banquet Thd pastor and his wife, along with the two young people, will be guests ci the college at the Ray Stevens concert. Friday evening, adults will attend a banquet featuring an old-fashioned box supper entitled “Boxes and Beaux” Games will include cake walks, door prizes, most at tractive box etc Saturday evening a youth valentine banquet will be held. A committee composed of Bve young people, and the adult leaders of the drama group have planned this event Both the Friday evening and Saturday evening banquets will be held in the new Fellowship and Activities building of First Baptist Church.
