public health, safety, and wel
fare, the Kings Mountain
Board of Commissioners is
considering amending its
present zoning ordinance and
map. The proposed amend
ments will:
(1) Extend zoning within the
one (1) mile extraterritorial
area surrounding Kings
Mountain, but extending not
more than one (1) mile beyond
the corporate limits;
(2) Revise and update the
present zoning ordinance and
map. Thus, in conformance
with Chapter 160A, Article 19
of the North Carolina General
Statutes, the Kii^s Mountain

hold a public hearing concern
