Moore And Johnson Players Of The Week CHRIS .lOIlNSON mark MOORE Junior Mark Moore and senior Chris Johnson are Mirror-Herald players of the week following outstanding performances in Friday’s 18- 14 KMHS victory at East Gas ton. Moore, a 233-pound guard, gets the nod as offmsive player of the week. He con sistently opened big holes for Johnson, who turned in a 90- yard rushing performance, the best individual effortof the year by a Mountaineer back. Moore’s blocking perform ance was probably the best in dividual blocking effort of the season. Johnson, although he stood out on offense by leading the rushing and catching the win- nodSs def«nsiv»|»^erof week since his three pass interceptions shut off three Warrior scoring threats. Johnson’s the first repeater in the player of the week honor roll, having also beai honored as defensive player of the week in KM’s 20-20 tie with North Gaston.
