David is grandson of Rev. and Mrs. W. F: 'Woodall of Spindale and Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Gaddis of Port Orange, Fla. AIRMAN SWOFFORD Swofford Stationed In Texas SAN ANTONIO - Airman Michael K. Swofford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard C. Swof ford of Rt. 2, Kings Mountain, N. C., has been selected for technical training in the U. S. Air Force medical services field at Sheppard AFB, Tex. The airman recently completed basic training at Lackland AFB, Tex., where he studied the Air Force mission, organization and customs and received special instruction in human relations. Airman Swofford, a 1971 graduate of Kings Mountain High School, earned an A. B. degree this year at Pfeiffer College in Misenheimer, N. C. ' ' LT. HOYLE Lt. Hoyle Is Awarded Silver Wings COLUMBUS, Miss. - A Kings Mountain, N. C., man has been awarded his silver wings at Columbus AFB, Miss., after completing U. S. Air Force pilot training. Second Lieutenant Joseph C, Hoyle, son of Mr. and Mrs, Benjamin E. Hoyle of Rt. 2, Kings Mountain, is being as signed to the U. S. Air Force Academy. A- 1970 graduate of Kings Mountain High School, he re ceived his B.S. degree and commission in 1974 upon graduation from the academy.
