Following the dinner- meeting at 6:45 p. m. at the Kings Mountain Woman’s Club, the Bicen chairmen will tell Kiwanians about the coming heritage music pro gram. The program is being ar-. ranged by Tom and Elaine Brooks of Crossroads Music Park and is scheduled for May 14-15, 1976. Kiwanians will meet on Tues., Nov. 24 at 6:45 p. m. instead of Thursday to ob serve the Thanksgiving holiday. C3iief Tignor also stated appreciation to each member of the fire department, the committee, and their wives for their support of the Satur day project. The firefighters are also trying to track down the American LaFrance pumper truck, the second vehicle the department owned, as an exhibit in the museum. The truck was sold to the Bethle hem Volunteer Fire Depart ment when it was formed and that group has since sold the vehicle, v^yone with informa tion to help locate the vehicle is asked to contact anyone at the Kings Mountain Fire Department. According to Dodge, Daves said it was misty and dark and he hit an object and saw a flash and thought it might have been an owel.” Bridges, who also took the stand, said he was uncon scious for 10 days after the accident and couldn’t remem ber anything about it. Daves is free on $500 bond. His Superior Court trial date has not yet been set. Car Show Dave Craig and The Country Masters, stars of WSPA-TV’s Monday night series “Carolina Country Show,” will be guest stars at the annual Great Smokey Moun tains Car Show Sat. and Sun., Nov. 22-23.
