James E. Holder, pastor of Midway Baptist Church of Gaffney, S.C. and former pastor of the bride. A Mrs. Bobby Webster, £«int of the bride, was organist for the program of nuptial music, John Rosemond and David Safford were guitarists, and John RoMiimoad and Bobby Webster, uncle of the bride, were vocalists. Mr. Rosemond sang “The ^Wedding Song" by Yarrow ^nd Webster sang the benedlctlonal "Wedding Prayer" by Dunlap. Die altar of the church was banked with a setting of two spiral, two-three and two seven-branched candalabras enhanced by Southern palms. Behind ^the wrought-lron keenllng blench was a fan-shaped floral arrangement of daisies and baby’s breath. William Floyd Stone, Jr. escorted his daughter to the altar and gave her In marriage. The bride’s gown was a formal design of white satin organza and Venlse lace posed over faille taffeta. The empire bodice was fashioned with yoke of English net outlined with lace scallops and topped with a scalloped lace Edwardian collar. Lace scallops circled the raised waistline and the long, fitted sleeves had lace points at the wrists. ’The Chapel-length veil of English tulle was caught to a matching lace CameM • Ril> carried a bouquet of daisies, baby’s breath and yellow rosebuds. Mrs. Rick Falls attended her sister sis matron of honor and bridesmaids were Mrs. BUI Stone of Kings Mountain, sister-in- law of the bride; Mrs. Giles Beal. Mrs. Mike Gibson, both of Gastonia, Mrs. Andy Nelsler of Kings Mountain, Mrs. Dale Carpenter of Concord, Miss Mindy Sloop of Fort MIU, S.C. and Miss Mary Keener of Canton. Elizabeth Pettett, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl. AU the attendants wore long gowns of Pistachio green Sllesta jersey featuring high-gathered necklines, butterfly sleeves and blouson bodices. The overskirts of matching Sllesta fabric had tulip hemlines. They carried bamboo fans with bouquets of daisies and baby's breath. John Pettett of DanvlUe, Pa., brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were David Adams of GreenvUle, S.C., brother-in-law of the bridegroom; James Green of Augusta, Ga., Dr. John Baarcke of Union, S.C., Tom Windham of AUanta, Ga., BUI Stone of Kings Mountain, brother of the bride, Randy Suarez of Cblumbla, S.C., and Jim Tatham of Gastonia.
