Smith and Carl Layel became eight gallon club members during Monday's visit of the Red cross Bloodmoblle at First Baptist Church. Joining the six gallon club was Juanita Steffy and joining the five gallon club was Mitchell Pruitt and the two gallon club were James R. Smith and Betty Oamble. Reaching the one gallon mark were B.M. Fender^ Jonl Smith Ross and Ben Slstare. A total of 131 citizens donated a pint of blood during the one-day i^lt. Makala’s four-year-old sister, Lisa, shared In the party fun along with Michelle Taylor, Jeff Taylor, Marsha and Kelly Ware, Mark Henson, Pam Foster, Terry Bowlin, Melody Ellison and PhlUp Ellison. Makala is grand daughter of Mrs. Cleo Henson of Kings Mountain. Mrs. Blaine Is the former Susan Henson. Gary Dean (Dee) Stewart, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Stewart, celebrated hie third bir thday Wed., Aug. 8. A family birthday party was held Tuesday night at the Stewart home on Dixon Road and Dee’s Snoopy- decorated birthday cake was cut and served with ice cream and party refreshments.
