a a • • o Page SA-MIRROR-HERALD-Thunday, Auguit 80, IBTO 1979-80 Kings Mountain School Bus Schedules School busei will begin operation In the Klngi Mountain School DlstrlctonFrl., Aug. 81, (orientation day) and achoola will operate on an 8:80-11 a.m. schedule for this day only. Tues., Sept. 4 will be the first ftiU day of operation. "Students planning to ride buses to schools should be ready to board buses by approximately 7-7:IS a.m. on August 81. The same policies and procedures utilized during the 1978- 79 school year will be applicable until notice of change la Issued," said Larry Allen, transportation director. Beginning with the 1979-80 school year. Kings Mountain schools transportation will be serving the students with three different bus fleets. Fleet No. 1 will serve the elementary students. No. 2 will serve the Central students and No. 8 will serve the Junior and senior high students. Each elementary bus will follow the same general route descriptions as iMt year. Ontral School's and the Jr.-sr. high school’s bus routes have been altered to allow for smoother operation and more ef ficient use of school time, Allen said. The foDowIni^route descriptions will generally explain the roads, streets and communities that the grades 6-12 buses will serve. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jessie Mae McCluney Woods; one son, Robert Alexander Woods, Jr. of Gastonia; four daughters, Mrs. Jerlene Gill of Gastonia, Miss Mary Woods, Miss Brenda Woods, and Miss Shelia Woods, all of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Gwinn of Clover, S.C. and Mrs. Willie Mae Shoals of Dallas; and 16 grand children. The petlUon was with drawn this past Monday night. Thomas left the meeting without making comment to the press about Ids plans.
