Painter of 107 Cleveland Ave., Kings Mountain, N.C., has arrived for duty here at Wrlght-Patterson Air Force Base. ' Colonel Painter, Director of Propulsion Logistics, was previously assigned at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla., eind Is now serving with a unit of the Air Force Logistics Command. , The colonel, a 1962 graduate of Kings Mountain High School, received a bachelor’s degree In 1968 from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Wrlght- Patterson Air Force Base. He earned a master’s degree in 1969 from the Air Force Institute of Technology. His wife, Teresa, Is the daughter of Sofle Lozano of 636 Woodland Drive, Iferlingcn, Texas. KM Rescue Squad Makes 119 Trips Kings Mountain Rescue Squad volunteers made 119 trips totalling 1,219 mUes and put In 763 man hours during the month of September.
