Christmas crstts to be featured In a big church A big Christmas basa'^^r Saturday at First Wesleytn Church Fellowship Hall will benefit three church projectu. The Circle, named for Vlnete r-ivl2, who with her husband, Kc-rris, are !r*««9lonarles tc Ziambla, will use some of the proceeds to purchase supplies to send to the Morrises. Ad ditionally. the Circle has ear marked part of the funds for the church-supported orphanage, Hephzlbah, located In Macon, Ga. and founded as a home for needy children six through 13. Proceeds from the bazaar will also be used for Wesleyan Indian Missions, Hut Springs, South Dakota. The Wesleyan Indian Missions' team works on 14 different Indian reservations and in towns where there Is heavy Indian population. They buy, rent or erect places of worship and operate a Christian Day School program that at tempts to reach the children and parents for Christ. Handmade crafts, a Country Store, a bake sthop, ham and sausage biscuits, a candy kit chen, book table, and white elephant sale will feature the bazaar. Members of the Circle have been at work fro weeks preparing bazaar Items. Doors will open at B a.m. In the Fellowship Hall behind the church at 808 North Piedmont Ave. A member of the Circle said, "Our Circle would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a Merry Christmas. During this very fesUve time of year, let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas, the celebration of the birth of our deal Saviour, 9 Jesus Christ. BUI RusseU, general chair man of the PX program, also made a summary report of the PX Run, which he termed highly successful. Rev. Bob Boggan, pastor, presented RusseU a certificate of appreciation for his hard work as head of the campaign. Mr. RusseU, In turn, presented certificates of appreciation to such key workers as the finance chairman, the station agents, Uie traU bosses, the' chief cook, the Sunday School coordinator, the pubUcity agent and the maU clerk.
