Brown, formerly of Kings Moun tain, were among 54 persons named missionaries by the Sou thern Baptist Fbreign Mission Board in a special service June 25 at Ridgecrest (N.C.) Baptist Con ference Center. As missionary associates, the Browns will woric in Germany, where he will be an English language pastor and she will be a church and home worker. He is pastor of Morgan Memorial Baptist Church, Greenville, S.C. Bom in Elasley, S.C., Brown grew up in Greenville, S.C. and other towns. He received the bachelor of arts degree from F\ir- man University, Greenville, and the bachelor of divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theolo gical Seminary, Wake Forest, N.C. Brown served in the United States Aimy and was a weaver in Greenville and in Raleigh, N.C. He was pastor of Waycross Baptist and New Hope Baptist Churches, Pel- zer, S.C.; Tilly Swanq> Baptist and Wampee Baptist Churches near Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Bethlehem Baptist Church, Cleveland County, N.C.; Second Baptist Church, Shelby, N.C.; Oaklawn Baptist Church, Winston Salem, N.C.; Elureka Baptist Church, Anderson, S.C., and Westside Baptist Church, Spartanburg, S.C. Mrs. Brown, the former EXelyn Vaughn of Greenville, was an office clerk in Spartanburg. The Browns have three grown children, includ ing Mrs. April Brown Morris of Kings Mountain. The couple will go to Pine Mountain, Ga., in September for a 12-week orientation before leaving for the field. MISSIONARIES—Rev. and Mrs. Norman F.
