Her father is Captain of Crew One which includes Junior Sellers, Harold Farris, Ralph Towery, Jeff Dixon, Ken Bribes and Trent Hullender. Brent Leigh heads Crew Two which includes Grady Lail, Ralph Arrowood, Warren Falls, Jim Yarbro and Scott Waters. Lt. Fred Tate heads Crew Three which includes Greg Tate, Don Sellers, Jr., David McDaniel and Donnie Pearson. Lt. Paul Williams heads Crew Four which includes John Schmieg, Bill Lowery, Duane Brown, Nor man Hope, Sam Murphy, Chris Brown and Johnny Barber. Lt. Tim Echols heads Crew Six which includes Kevin Roberts, Ed Raines, J.B. Weaver and Craig Bridges. Elaine, who is engaged to marry Jeff Dixon in October, says her fiance is proud of her, and that even though they aren’t on the same crew, they will be working together to help other people, and that’s what volunteerism is all about. Rock-A-Thon Set Friday Trinity Church of the Living God will sponsor a Rock-A- Thon Friday with 20 rockers participating from 6 p.m. until 2 a.m. Living God Church Youth (LGCY) is sponsoring the second annual benefit and all proceeds are earmarked toward purchase of a van for the young people. The Ajax carries a crew of more than 1,3(X) and is capable of having as many as 22 ships alongside for repair. Navy Boiler Technician 3rd Class Thomas A. Johnson, son of Alphilo A. and Doris H. Johnson of 413 York Road, Kings Mountain, has deployed to the Indian Ocean. He is a crewmember aboard the repair ship USS Ajax homeported at Sm Diego. While deployed the Ajax is operating as a unit of the U.S. 7th Fleet.
