Rock-A-Thon Set By Jaycees Kings Mountain Jaycees are planning a Cystic Fibrosis rock- a-thon during the Bicentennial Celebration of the Battle of Kings Mountain. The event will last 24 hours ^ and will begin at 4:30 p.m. Oc- ) 9 tober 3. It will be held at the Kings Mountain Depot Center. Registration will begin at 3:30 p.m. Project chairman Tom Franks is lining up local talent to supply entertainment during the event. “We hope to have many local personality guests at the rock-a- thon,” Franks said. . ^ The pledge forms for the rock- f *a-thon are available at the Kings ' Mountain Senior High and Junior High schools.
