Tillman and Ella Pridmore were married in York, S.C. on Nov. 29,1930 by Probate Judge E. Gettys Nunn. Mr. Pridmore has retired from Duke Power Company after 46 years of ser vice. They are active members of Patterson Grove Baptist Church. * -I Mr. and Mrs. Pridmore are parents of two daughters, Mrs. Margaret P. Henderson of Kings Mountain and Mrs. Frances P. Bridges of Mount Holly. There are five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends and relatives called between 2 and 4 pjn. and showered the honor^ couple with gifts. DMwmbM 23. 1980-gINGS MOUNTAIN HERALO-Pog* 3B Tax Forms Are In Mail Households throughout the country will begin receiving 1980 income tax packages from the Internal Revenue Service starting Dec. 26, Kings Mounain Postmaster Fred Weaver said. Most post offices have already received the packages and will hold them for distribution until the day after Christmas, as re quested by IRS. The only ex ception for earlier delivery jue packages going to ceruin business firms and tax ^rvice agencies,” he said. Postmaster Weaver noted that while the packages travel as third-class mail, “they are for warded without charge to the recipient if such service is necessary.” The Postal Service will recover any forwarding charges from the Internal Revenue Service through a pre arranged agreement. The tax forms are delivered to some 86 million households across the country, the postmster said. Book Club Held Luncheon Mrs. J.H. Arthur was hostess to the Thursday Afternoon Book Club at her home Dec. 11. The Arthur home on Edgemont Dr. was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. A covered dish luncheon was served on arrival of members. Mrs. Robert L. Wilson read Christmas poetry to feature the Christmas program. Mrs. Thomas Trott, club president, said that she had presented a gift to Mrs. Fred Finger, unable to attend because of illness, and Mrs. Trott also presented each member with a good luck token. Book Chairman Mrs. W.M. Moorhead presented a report and President-Elect, Mrs. Harry Warren, appointed hostesses and program chairman for the com ing year. Garden Club Makes Favors Mrs. Grady Patterson was hostess to the Town and Coun try Garden Club at her home Thursday evening. Upon arrival of guests, Mrs. Patterson was assisted by her daughter, Mrs. John Cheshire, in serving a dessert course with cof fee. Miniature Christmas ar rangements were made for pa tient hospital trays as a Christmas program of the club.
